<-----Ingredients: 1 pound of tilapia, 1 cup whole wheat (Panko) breadcrumbs (I bought these from publix), 1tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp garlic power, 1 large egg, salt and pepper
Pre-heat your oven to 475. Cut tilapia into stick pieces ^^
Get two bowls. In the first bowl crack egg, lighty beaten, add a generous amount of salt and pepper ( I didn't add too much salt). In the secound bowl combine your breadcrumbs, garlic salt, and olive oil (mix well). ------------->
Dip tilapia pieces into the egg (shake off excess), then coat in the breadcrumbs
Dip tilapia pieces into the egg (shake off excess), then coat in the breadcrumbs
Take a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil, lighty spray the foil with cooking spray. Place coated tilapia pieces on sheet.
Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes (the recipe calls for 10-15mins @ 475 degrees but around 11-12 mins my breadcrumbs were starting to burn, so maybe try it at 425-450 degrees for 10-15mins otherwise keep at 475 just lower your time).Enjoy!
